Objectives
COX designed & Installed the replacement of an existing 800kva CRGO transformer with a new 2MVA eco design compliant low loss amorphous core transformer. With the installation of new 3200amp LV switch panel, new outgoing supplies to client spray booths and all associated infrastructure. COX completed a full turnkey solution with definitive design and transformer change over a weekend.
Challenges
Through design and engineering COX were able to offer energy and cost savings, along with a clear client CO2e reduction. The project was concluded safely and on programme within a live and busy working environment, including coordination of several third parties & key stakeholders
