Cox Design and Consult Limited were appointed by Engie and GBZ to oversee and assist with the opening of The Good Hotel, London, Royal Docks.
The Good Hotel London, is a converted floating prison of Dutch origin and with a simple and good ethos behind it, that is to be a social business and in turn involve and give back to the local community.
Cox Design and Consult were tasked with overseeing, designing and implementing quay to floating platform/hotel submarine multi utility connections, water boost pumping sets, gain water regulations approval, full design of HV/LV substation, fire regulation approval and lift commissioning.
Although we overcame a number of difficulties, the hard work with this project, was converting the EU standards that had been applied and gaining UK compliance to enable the hotel to open in time for December 2016.
Cox Design and Consult Limited delivered this project for our Client within a tight 4 week program.
